To help guide you through this transition, we’ve created a New Employee Induction Checklist that outlines key milestones for your first 90 days. This checklist ensures you’re set up for success—whether it’s getting your ID badge, meeting your Induction support partner, or understanding your role’s expectations.

What to Expect in Your First Days

  • Day 1: You’ll attend In-Person Induction at Isaac Gourdine Administration Building (8700 Allentown Rd, Fort Washington, MD 20744) from 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM. This experience will help you understand PGCPS culture, navigate key systems, and connect with resources.
  • Days 2-5: You’ll integrate into your assigned office or school, meet your team, and complete important administrative tasks.
  • 30-90 Days: You’ll continue settling into your role, receive mentorship, and participate in check-ins with your supervisor to ensure a smooth transition.

Personal Checklist

New Employee Induction Checklist

Use the personal checklist as your guide and check off items as you complete them. Please note that some tasks may vary based on your office or division. If you have any questions, your Supervisor, Induction Support Partner (OSP), or Administrative Support Staff are great resources to help you navigate your onboarding experience.

Welcome aboard—we’re excited to have you here!
