WELCOME!
Dear Online Campus Students and Families,
Welcome to a brand-new school year! Whether you are returning to us or joining for the first time, we’re so glad you’re here. This year brings exciting changes and the same commitment to excellence that has defined our Online Campus.
Last year was a remarkable one; we maintained a 100% graduation rate for the fourth consecutive year, continued to exceed county (and in some subjects, state) averages in test scores, and took learning beyond the screen with numerous field trips designed to give our students more hands-on experiences. These opportunities brought learning to life and reminded us that while we are an online school, our connections and growth happen in many different spaces.
We are also starting the year in a new school building, giving us fresh opportunities to serve our students even better. Our systemic priorities remain focused on:
Our monthly in-person events will continue, offering students the chance to connect with
classmates, collaborate in new ways, and strengthen relationships with staff. We know these shared experiences help make our virtual education not just rigorous, but also vibrant andmemorable.
We also have two important events for families early in the school year:
Schedules for all students will be available in Synergy prior to the start of school. If you need a Chromebook, please contact your boundary school; remember that a school-issued device is required for state and local testing. For more information, please contact Dr. Ba, testing coordinator.
In addition to leading the entire program, I will work most closely with grades 7–8. Mrs. Martin will support grades 9–12. Together, we are committed to ensuring every student and family has the support needed for a successful year.
The first day of school for new students is August 25 at 9:00 a.m. and August 26 for all students.
We can’t wait to see everyone online, ready to learn and grow together. Let’s make this year one filled with achievement, exploration, and community pride.
Warm regards,
Dr. Kristin Bullock
