Welcome to Robert Frost

Dear parents and guardians,

Welcome to the 2025–2026 School Year!

I hope you and your families had a wonderful summer filled with rest, joy, and special moments together. As I begin my second year as principal of Robert Frost Elementary School, I am filled with excitement for the year ahead.

Together, we will continue building on the strong foundation we established last year—embracing new opportunities, celebrating growth, and supporting every child’s success. At Robert Frost, we believe in nurturing curious, creative, and critical thinkers who are ready to thrive in the 21st century.

It is truly an honor to partner with our dedicated staff and supportive families to make a positive difference in the lives of our students. I look forward to another year of learning, discovery, and achievement for all of our children.

What’s New?

  • Our Location: We are now located at 7910 Scott Road, Landover, MD 20785
  • School Hours: 7:30-1:40
  • Bus Riders:  All students will be assigned an AM and PM bus to transport them to and from school.  All kindergarten and 1st grade students will need a parent or older sibling to meet them at the bus stop in the afternoon.
  • We only have a bus/van loop.  We do not have a separate car loop. We encourage our parents to place students on the bus.

Stay Connected:

We urge you to check our school website, DoJo App regularly, attend parent meetings, read the newsletters we’ll send home, and listen to the messages we send through robo calls. These platforms will be our primary modes of communication about events, announcements, and updates.

A Note of Gratitude:

Lastly, thank you for your continued support and trust in us. It takes a village to raise a child, and together as educators and parents, we make a formidable team. Our doors are always open for any questions, suggestions, or concerns.

Let's make this year memorable, filled with growth, achievements, and joy. We can't wait to see our hallways bustling with the energy of our students!

Warm regards,

Dr. Tracie Connelly
