At Oxon Hill Elementary School, we believe that every child can succeed when families, staff, and the community work together. As a Title I school, we receive federal funding to provide additional academic support and resources for our students. Under the Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA), parents are to be notified that they have a right to request and receive information on the professional qualifications of their child's classroom teacher(s) and paraprofessional(s).
The ESSA and Title I District Policy Plan provides families and community members opportunities to be part of a shared decision-making process. We welcome input and questions.
