Following Administrative Procedure 0114 - School Uniforms, Northview Elementary has implemented a mandatory uniform policy for all students. This policy requires student at Northview Elementary to wear a uniform system-wide that aligns with the school system's Dress Code Policy. Uniforms must be worn by all students daily. Students should also practice good hygiene and take pride in their appearance. Hairstyles must be neat and completely groomed before arrival to school.
The Student Dress Code Policy is subject to annual review. Violations of this dress code will result in disciplinary action by the school. Students must always be in complete uniform to qualify for any school-sponsored field trips or extracurricular activities. Recurring and inappropriate dress during "dress-up" days will result in exclusion from "dress-up" and other extracurricular activity privileges. Students must always adhere to the dress code policy outlined in the PGCPS Student Rights and Responsibilities Handbook.

Note: On uniform-free (dress-down) days, all students are expected to dress appropriately for school (i.e., no Crocs, flip-flops, tank tops, etc.). We also encourage your to check the local weather daily.
