Good afternoon HMS Community,
We are getting closer and closer to the start of the school year. With this being said, we would like to share with you the new cell phone policy that will be implemented, beginning this school year.
The Yondr Program is a bell-to-bell, phone-free solution that removes mobile device distractions during the school day to promote student focus, improved academic performance stronger social connections, and overall well-being.We believe this program will help our students row in their ability to concentrate, build healthier peer relationships, and be more present throughout the school day.
To ensure a smooth and positive transition, students will receive detailed training in September before full implementation. They will participate in demonstrations using simulation pouches and receive ongoing reminders about the expectations and benefits of the new policy.
