Dear Dodge Park Elementary Families,
I am writing to share important news regarding leadership at our school.
After many years of dedicated service to our students, staff, and families, Principal Moise has announced her retirement. Principal Moise’s commitment to Dodge Park has been extraordinary. Under her leadership, our school has grown in both academic excellence and community spirit, and her legacy will continue to shape our work for years to come. We are deeply grateful for her tireless dedication and wish her the very best as she enters this next chapter.
To ensure a smooth transition, Ms. Tiesha Howell has been appointed Acting Principal of Dodge Park Elementary, effective immediately. Ms. Howell is an experienced school leader with a deep commitment to student success and family engagement. She has worked closely with staff and families throughout Prince George’s County Public Schools, bringing both strong instructional expertise and a collaborative spirit to this role. We are confident she will provide steady and capable leadership as we move forward.
We will keep you updated on the process for identifying the next permanent principal and will ensure opportunities for families, staff, and community members to provide input.
