Clovis Djeutcha, Ph.D.

Dr. Clovis Djeutcha is a devoted husband and father of three. He holds a Ph.D. in Science Education and is certified in Administration I. With over 20 years of experience as a dynamic science educator, he has primarily taught middle school science and occasionally mathematics at Dora Kennedy French Immersion. A native French speaker fluent in English, Dr. Djeutcha brings a rich academic, linguistic, and professional background to his work.

In addition to his classroom excellence, Dr. Djeutcha is a dedicated team leader with deep expertise in instructional curriculum and data-informed instruction. He has served in numerous leadership roles, including Middle School Science Department Chair, Alternate School Testing Coordinator, and Electronic & Virtual STEM Fair Coordinator. From 2014 to 2021, he served as Middle School Chairperson and was the Sponsor and Coach of the S.M.A.R.T. Program as well as the School Coordinator for the MESA Program from 2015 to 2019.

Dr. Djeutcha’s contributions have been widely recognized. His honors include:

  • Toyota Tapestry Award for Excellence in Science Education (2006)

  • NASA Solar System Competition Winner (2011)

  • MEN of PGCPS Award (2019)

  • Appreciation Award from the Immersion Office for his outstanding contributions and curriculum translation (2024)

  • Teacher Leader Award from the PGCPS Science Office (2025)

Dr. Clovis Djeutcha believes in the power of learning from others and actively seeks guidance to grow. He is an arranger, a learner, an achiever, and an includer—and above all, a fervent believer in the importance of listening and meaningful communication to foster collaboration and student achievement.
