Fun Facts: I've visited 31 states with the goal of visiting them all! I visited most of those states during a month-long cross-country train trip in the summer of 2024. During high school and college, I worked jobs as a landscaper, an usher at a performing arts center, a fundraiser at a call center. and ran my university's campus nightclub. While I do not have any pets, l frequently have threads of pet videos with friends and always love seeing pictures of folks pets!
ABOUT ME:
I am thrilled to be a Yellow Jacket here at Gwynn Park High School! I grew up in Bowie and am a proud graduate of Prince George's County Public Schools. I was a recipient of the four-year, full-tuition Posse Foundation Leadership Scholarship which allowed me to become the first in my family to attend and graduate college from Bucknell University in Pennsylvania where I studied History and Education. Upon completion of my Bachelor's degree, I returned to PGCPS to begin my career as a social studies teacher. My favorite classes to teach were government and psychology. During this time I earned my Master's degree from Columbia University in New York City. Now, as an Assistant Principal, I remain committed to supporting every student in exploring their passions and aspirations as they explore who they are.
