About Dr. Watson

Born and raised in Prince George’s County, Dr. Ron Watson brings a lifetime of civic leadership and public service to this established advisory role. Currently serving as a Maryland State Senator and Vice Chair of the Prince George’s Senate Delegation, Dr. Watson offers extensive experience in education policy, governance, and intergovernmental affairs. A former Vice Chair of the PGCPS Board of Education, Dr. Watson is also a decorated military veteran, accomplished entrepreneur, and IT professional. He currently serves on the state’s Joint Committee on Cybersecurity, Information, Technology, and Biotechnology.
