Local 400 Voluntary Transfers

In accordance with the SEIU, Local 400 PG Negotiated Agreement and through the collaborative efforts of the Board of Education and Local 400 Union, via a pilot, the Division of Human Resources is providing an opportunity for all eligible Local 400 employees to apply for a voluntary transfer for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. 

Resources for the SY25-26 Voluntary Transfer application process for eligible school-based Local 400 employees can be found below. The Voluntary Transfer function is part of iRecruitment in ORACLE Self-Service that allows eligible Local 400 employees to request a voluntary transfer request. A transfer is defined as a request for a change in from a school/office location within the same support job classification and grade within Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) to another PGCPS school or location with an authorized vacancy.

Local 400 employees may access the online application using their current login credentials from any PGCPS network computer from 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, February 1, 2025 through 11:59 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025. Without exceptions, the deadline for submitting a voluntary transfer application is Friday, February 28, 2025.
