The first day of school for the 2025 - 26 school year is Tuesday, August 26. Make sure your family is ready with this checklist.
1. Connect to ParentVUE
ParentVUE gives you real-time access to grades, attendance, transportation, schedules, and more.
2. Check Your Child’s Immunizations
Maryland law requires up‑to‑date immunizations.
What to Do Now
Check your child’s immunization records to ensure all required vaccines are current.
7th graders need the Tdap booster and MCV4 vaccine.
Unsure? Reach out to your school nurse for guidance on your child’s immunization status.
Schedule an appointment with your pediatrician or healthcare provider to update any needed vaccines.
No health insurance? No problem. Attend a free clinic.
3. Know Your Bus Route

4. Check Schedules and Student Orientation
Student Orientation Day is Monday, August 25 and is for students who are new to their school only.
