In-Person Advisory Sessions with Dr. Joseph
Following nine virtual listening sessions this summer, here’s another opportunity to engage directly with district leadership. Join Interim Superintendent Dr. Shawn Joseph and your Board of Education member for an in-person Parent & Community Advisory Session.
Share your ideas, ask questions, and hear updates on key priorities for Dr. Joseph’s first 100 days.

Transportation Deadline Soon
Need a school bus on the first day? New and transitioning students must be fully enrolled by Thursday, August 15 to receive bus transportation on the first day of the 2025–26 school year. This deadline does not apply to students continuing at the same school they attended during 2024–25.

Weekend Clinics featuring Food, Backpack Giveaways & Lots of Family Fun!
- Sunday, August 24, 1 PM - 5 PM @ Largo HS
- Saturday, September 13, 9 AM - 3 PM @ James Madison MS
- Saturday, September 27, 9 AM - 3 PM @ High Point HS
Weekday clinics will be held from 11:30 AM to 6:30 PM and feature immunizations only.

- Wednesday, August 13 @ Bladensburg HS
- Thursday, August 14 @ Benjamin Tasker MS

Now through September 27, students can receive free back-to-school vaccines at a school near you! These clinics are open to uninsured and underinsured PGCPS families to help ensure compliance with Maryland immunization requirements. Limited walk-ins will be accepted based on space availability.
Appointments are also available on Mondays and Tuesdays from 9:00 am - 03:00 pm at Cheverly Health Center (3003 Hospital Drive, Ground Floor | Cheverly)
