JROTC Leadership Academy Training (JLAT)

Program Description

To prepare  JROTC cadets for leadership roles in their respective units by teaching certain leadership characteristics. Cadets engage in a challenging course of study with the principle goal of developing citizenship, leadership, teamwork, which includes:

1)Leadership  2) Character  3) Physical Fitness  4) Field Leadership (Orienteering)                  

5)   Obstacle Course (if available)   6) Commanding Troops   7) Inspecting Troops                  

8)  Sword Manual    9) Military Drill  10) Social Etiquette/Manners

9th -11th grade
