Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC)

Prince George’s County Public Schools (PGCPS) uses a Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) to ensure student-athletes have a voice in shaping their athletic experience. These committees serve as a platform for student-athletes to provide feedback on rules, policies, and procedures that impact them. SAAC also helps strengthen communication between student-athletes and the athletics administration while fostering a sense of unity among teams.

The PGCPS SAAC is committed to enriching the student-athlete experience by developing leadership, supporting community service efforts, and elevating the perspectives of student-athletes within the athletics department. These committees play a vital role in representing student-athlete interests and promoting a positive image both on campus and in the broader community.
