The College Board has made significant changes to the test administration timeline for the PSAT 8/9 assessment. Non-PGCPS students and current 9th-grade PGCPS students who are applying to certain High School Specialty Programs as a freshman for the 2026-2027 school year must submit a program application and test registration between August 1, 2025 and October 3, 2025.
Students interested in the Academy of Health Sciences, Aerospace Engineering and Aviation Technology, and Science and Technology programs are required to take the PSAT 8/9.
After submitting an application, non-PGCPS students and 9th-grade PGCPS students will be required to register and pay for the PSAT 8/9, which will be administered in October 2025. Test registration details are embedded in the application.

*8th-grade students who are currently enrolled in PGCPS do not require an application and will take the PSAT 8/9 at their school.
